Terms of use

By using pixellin.com (“Pixellin”) you agree to these terms. They’re short because the service is simple: the tools run on your device and we never receive your files.

Your files

You keep all rights to the images you process. Because processing happens locally in your browser, Pixellin doesn’t receive, store or license your content. You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to edit and use the images you process.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t use Pixellin to break the law or infringe other people’s rights.
  • Don’t attempt to disrupt the website, overload it with automated traffic, or circumvent security measures.
  • Automated or large-scale use of the website (for example, scripts that drive the tools) is not permitted without written agreement.

No warranty

The tools are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make results accurate, but always keep your original files. Image processing (especially lossy compression and format conversion) changes data by design.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pixellin isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from use of the website or its tools.

Open-source components

Pixellin includes open-source software, including MozJPEG, libwebp, libavif, OxiPNG, libheif (LGPL-3.0, loaded as a separate unmodified module), SVGO, exifr, UTIF, gifenc, omggif and fflate, each under its own license.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
