Convert SVG to PNG
Turn vector logos, icons and illustrations into PNG images at the size you choose. Transparent backgrounds stay transparent, and the result works in apps that cannot read SVG.

How it works
- 01Drop SVG files on the page, choose them, or paste one.
- 02Pick a scale from 1× to 4×, or set a width in pixels.
- 03Select Process to rasterize each vector.
- 04Download the PNG files individually or with Download all as a ZIP.
Why use this tool
Choose the output size
Render at 1× to 4× the SVG's own size, or type an exact pixel width for a crisp result at any resolution.
Transparency preserved
Empty areas of the vector remain transparent in the PNG, so logos and icons sit cleanly on any background.
Safe rendering
SVG files are rendered as images, so any scripts inside them never run. Nothing is uploaded either.
Supported formats
Use cases
Logo for slides and docs
Some presentation tools, document editors and email signatures do not accept SVG. A PNG at 2× or 3× stays sharp on high-density screens.
App store and social icons
Platforms ask for icons and profile images at fixed pixel sizes. Enter the width they require and get a transparent PNG ready to upload.
Sharing a design preview
Send a client a PNG of an icon set or illustration that opens in any image viewer, without asking them to install vector software.
Technical details
SVG describes shapes mathematically, while PNG stores a fixed grid of pixels. Converting is called rasterizing: the vector is drawn at the size you choose, and that size is then fixed. Pick a scale of 1× to 4× relative to the SVG's own dimensions, or a pixel width with the height following the aspect ratio. Render larger than you think you need, because a PNG cannot be scaled up later without blur. A 2× render is a sensible default for high-density phone and laptop screens.
PNG keeps the transparent background of the SVG. Scripts embedded in an SVG never run, because the file is rendered as an image. Fonts referenced from your computer or the web may not be available during rendering, so convert text to outlines in your editor for reliable results. Keep the original SVG as your master file. Frequently asked questions
How do I convert SVG to PNG with a transparent background?
Just convert it here. PNG supports transparency, so anything the SVG leaves empty stays transparent in the output. There is no background to remove, and you do not need to change any setting for it.
How do I get a high-resolution PNG from an SVG?
Choose a scale of 2×, 3× or 4×, or enter a large pixel width such as 2000 or 4000. Because the vector is redrawn at that size, edges stay sharp instead of being stretched from a small image.
Why does the text in my PNG look different?
If the SVG uses a font that is not embedded, the browser substitutes another one while rendering. Converting text to outlines or paths in your vector editor before exporting guarantees the PNG matches your design.
Is it safe to convert an SVG I downloaded?
SVG can contain scripts, but Pixellin renders the file as an image, where scripts never run. The conversion also happens entirely in your browser, so the file is not sent to any server.
